Sabrina R. Cluesman, PhD, LCSW
Postdoctoral Research Fellow, HIV Center for Clinical and Behavioral Studies
Dr. Cluesman’s research seeks to address health inequities along the PrEP care continuum and in adolescent transgender health. She adopts an intersectional approach, focusing on minority stress experiences within Black and Latine trans and gender-expansive youth and emerging adult populations. She examines how heterosexism, cisgenderism, and racism compound to create health inequities within these communities. Utilizing mixed methods, she is driven by a mission to mitigate the impacts of racism, homophobia, and transphobia on their health outcomes through the implementation of innovative interventions.
