Caitlin I. Laughney, PhD, MSW
Postdoctoral Research Fellow, HIV Center for Clinical and Behavioral Studies
Dr. Laughney’s research examines the long-term health implications of consensual and non-consensual sexual experiences during childhood and adolescence among global populations of men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender individuals at elevated risk of HIV infection. She is interested in developing trauma-informed interventions within the HIV care continuum to better support MSM and transgender individuals who experience complex and intersecting forms of marginalization, stigma, and violence across the life course.
